SurfacesHouston — International Stoneworks, a natural stone restoration and maintenance business, will co-present the session, CSI (Critical Stone Investigation): How Geology and Installation Affect Stone Restoration (program code # TU20)  at the International Surface Event in Las Vegas.

Rawi Tabbah, International Stoneworks’ president, will present on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, from 3:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. He and co-presenters David Bonasera and Chuck Muehlbauer will discuss stone geology and installation as it relates to stone restoration. The panel will help the audience understand how the geological background of stone and the installation of stone determine what type of restoration method professionals can use when restoring a stone surface. Those attending this session can receive 1.5 credits for continuing education.
