Spartanburg, S.C. — Milliken announced that Bob Hutchison has been appointed vice president of global design for the Milliken floor covering division.
Hutchison will join Milliken effective immediately and will be located at the Milliken corporate headquarters and design center in Spartanburg, S.C. He will report to Jim McCallum, president of the Milliken global floor covering division, and aid in continuing to position the company as a leader in modular and broadloom carpeting.
Hutchison will spearhead product design and development for Milliken’s broadloom, modular carpet and entryway matting solutions, and will continue to bring forth innovative design solutions from Milliken with unparalleled aesthetics and performance.
“Bob carries with him extensive industry experience and incredible design expertise,” McCallum said. “He has developed and managed product platforms to a high degree of excellence throughout his career. His innovative approach to the product development and design process, combined with Milliken’s industry-leading technological capabilities, will undoubtedly lead Milliken to significant breakthroughs in its product portfolio as we continue to provide innovative floor covering solutions to the architecture and design community.”
Hutchison joins Milliken with more than 30 years of experience in the textile and carpet industry, including senior leadership positions at Mannington, Mohawk and Lees Carpets.
