Dickson, Tenn. — A groundbreaking ceremony for the $180 million Dal-Tile facility in Dickson will take place Sept. 11 in the Dickson County Industrial Park at the site of future ceramic tile-producing plant.

Mohawk Industries announced March 6 its plans to build a 1.8-million-square-foot facility in the industrial park that is ultimately expected to employ 320 people.

Local and state officials have been asked to attend. Dal-Tile expects to begin operations at the plant in late 2015.
