West Bloomfield, Mich.—The Flooring Contractors Association (FCICA) will host a webinar on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. EST. Jeffrey Johnson, product manager for Mapei’s Floor Covering Installation Systems line, will present the webinar “Adhesive Science 101 for the Floor Covering Installer.”
Registrants will learn the science behind the various types and chemistries of adhesives used in the floor covering industry today. This session will provide specific information as to the nature of these adhesive types, their uses and limitations. Attendees will also gain greater knowledge of how adhesives work, the environmental aspects that will affect bond performance and why there are so many different types of adhesives available, including how they interface with flooring types.
