Mohawk Group won Supplier of the Year

Laguna Niguel, Calif.–Fuse Alliance, a member-owned organization of professional, commercial flooring contractors, announced the recipients of the network’s member and supplier awards, which were presented at the organization’s 2016 annual conference. More than 200 network members from the U.S. and Canada, as well as flooring product and materials suppliers attended the Fuse Alliance annual conference, which was held in Nashville.

Fuse Alliance network members were recognized for excellence in communication, reporting and follow up, loyalty, sustainability and spirit.

“Our annual conference is a productive and inspiring time for our entire network, which includes our members and our preferred suppliers,” said Geoff Gordon, executive director for Fuse Alliance. “Our awards program provides an opportunity for our network to highlight member businesses that have gone above and beyond in contributing to our network, whether it be through sharing best practices or exhibiting leadership.”

Member Awards were presented to seven network businesses. Cherry Carpet and Flooring, based in Virginia, captured Excellence in Communication; Brock Contract Services, based in North Carolina, captured Excellence in Reporting and Follow Up; three network members received Excellence in Loyalty including FDC Contract in Colorado, Franklin Flooring in Pennsylvania and Signature Commercial Floor Covering in Southern California. Flooring Resources Corporation, based in Illinois, was recognized for its contribution to Ecollect, Fuse Alliance’s reclamation program. Finally, Certified Finishes, with locations in Atlanta, Florida and South Carolina, received the Spirit Award.

Supplier Awards were presented to four of the network’s preferred suppliers. Johnsonite received Best Product, XL Brands received Best Service, and Schönox received Best Support. Mohawk Group captured Supplier of the Year. Fuse Alliance conducts an annual member survey for the Supplier Awards. The results are tallied and presented at the organization’s annual conference.
