Chattanooga, Tenn.–Propex Global has announced the hiring of carpet industry expert Bill Emberson as senior account executive.
Emberson will be responsible for the Southeast Region Furnishings Solutions division, handling carpet backing systems Artis, Actionbac and Polybac.
Previously, Emberson was senior account manager for Invista where he sold Nylon 6,6 yarn.
“Bill is very well respected in the industry and has strong, trusted relationships with many of our customers,” said Tom Borders, vice president, furnishings solutions–domestic. “He’s known for his consultative, collaborative style which fits our brand’s approach perfectly.”
Emberson will work out of the company’s Dalton office.
