Solon, Ohio—Tarkett recently received the Platinum Award for Design Excellence (ADEX) for its Minerality rubber tile and planks and Acczent Flourish sheet vinyl flooring. Tarkett was also the recipient of the Silver ADEX for its iQ Granit and iQ Granit Micro homogeneous sheet and tile flooring. Selected by a panel of professionals representing a cross section of the design industry, these awards recognize the best product and project designs of the year.

The ADEX awards acknowledge superior products in the categories of architecture, interior architecture, interior design projects and landscape architecture.

Each of Tarkett’s award winning products offer unique solutions for commercial applications. In keeping with Tarkett’s high sustainability standards and environmentally conscious practices, Minerality, Acczent Flourish, iQ Granit and iQ Granit Micro are all phthalate free and part of the Tarkett ReStart recycling program.

Minerality: Inspired by the rich, organic look of natural wood and stone, versatile Minerality combines an understated, chic sophistication with the performance luxuries of a rubber flooring solution. Minerality is unique in appearance and, in line with the singularity of natural stone and wood, no two patterns are exactly alike.

Acczent Flourish: One of the most versatile commercial sheet vinyl products on the market, Acczent Flourish delivers the look and feel of luxury vinyl tile while providing optimal hygienic performance. Three beautiful design visuals, each offered in ten different colors, integrate with a wide range of commercial environments.

iQ Granit and iQ Granit Micro: In 2015 Tarkett expanded the iQ Granit homogeneous flooring line, offering a total of 50 options, 30 of which are brand new, and are part of the iQ Granit Micro Collection. Inspired by nature, iQ Granit Micro’s tonal, smaller chip design makes it ideal for healthcare, education, retail, hospitality and corporate applications.
