Chicago—At NeoCon 2018, Shannon Specialty Floors named Ellie Dowden Priester director of marketing—a newly created position that she was promoted to here.

“Ellie has played a pivotal role in the growth and development of our PR, product development and social media marketing,” said Jeff Collum, president and CEO, Shannon Specialty Floors. “She has had overall creative influence on all marketing initiatives for several years now and has recently moved us into the Teknoflor brand initiative in an exciting fashion.”

In addition to her work with Teknoflor, Priester has been a driving force in JUST certification and the Living Product Challenge as well as the company’s participation in the International Living Building Council.
