Dalton—The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) and International Certified Flooring Installers Association (CFI) plan to co-host a two-part webinar series designed to help floor covering retailers and installers strengthen their team dynamics to create an unforgettable customer experience from sales through installation.

As part of WFCA’s Knowledge is Power webinar series, this two-part webinar, “The Power of Partnerships, Retailers and Installers Coming Together,” will be delivered as interactive sessions that bring together leaders in the retail and installation fields to share their side of the story, address opportunities to improve communications and effective ways to collaborate for a common goal. Viewers will be able to take part in a Q&A with the panel during the live discussion.

The series will kick off with “What Installers Would Like Retailers to Know” on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., with the second webinar, “What Retailers Would Like Installers to Know,” scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The webinars will be moderated by Scott Humphrey, CEO of the WFCA, along with Robert Varden, executive director of CFI. The panel will include several industry retail and installation professionals.

“When it comes to the installation process, it often feels like retailers and installers are living on entirely different planets,” Varden stated. “This lack of understanding can lead to an experience that frustrates the installer, the retailer and, most importantly, the customer. This unique series will stimulate a lively dialogue and unite these professionals to build mutually beneficial business partnerships.”

Humphrey concurred, adding: “We believe these various perspectives will provide a valuable exchange of information and insight that will ultimately simplify the lives of both professional retailers and installers, help to lessen or avoid claims and help everyone be more profitable. That takes empathy and teamwork.”
