HomeCommercialINSTALL, FCICA join forces

Washington, D.C.— INSTALL, the leader in training and certification for the floorcovering industry, and FCICA, a resource for premiere commercial flooring contractors, are collaborating to host a live event in the greater Atlanta, Ga., region. The educational session provides an opportunity for commercial flooring contractors to advance professionalism and learn how they can leverage INSTALL and FCICA member benefits.

On April 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. ET, the two organizations said they invite local commercial flooring contractors to meet in-person at the South Eastern Regional Council of Carpenters Atlanta Training Center. Attendees will learn about the core missions of FCICA and INSTALL, and how contractors can utilize each organization to advance training, certification and business development.

“We’ve partnered together to share best practices with flooring contractors and want to demonstrate how they can utilize FCICA and INSTALL to win new jobs, train their labor force and recruit new journeypeople,” said John T. McGrath Jr., INSTALL executive director. “We want them to take away actionable learnings they can implement immediately to create and/or expand their professional labor force.”

The collaboration will focus on industry hot topics, a time for sharing challenges and solutions and provide an opportunity to create connections with industry colleagues. The session will include two keynote learning sessions—one from each organization—a training center tour, a virtual FCICA membership meeting, a networking hour, lunch and raffle giveaways.

“FCICA and INSTALL deliver value to the entire floorcovering industry and, most importantly, to the flooring contractors who work in the field every day. This collaboration and event will help commercial flooring contractors learn valuable skills to help them secure more business,” added Pat Kelly, FCICA chairman and president and owner of Synergy Flooring. “Together we can empower contractors to leverage the tools our organizations offer to help them succeed.”

If you are a commercial flooring contractor in the greater Atlanta, Ga., area and you would like to attend, sign up here. All Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed in accordance with the CDC including wearing a mask or cloth face covering and social distancing.

The event will be hosted at:
