Chattanooga, Tenn.—Alliance Flooring has named Robbie Spurr vice president sales working out of the Alpharetta, Ga., office.

Spurr will lead and develop the company’s sales strategy, enhancing and building on prior successes. He brings with him a wealth of flooring knowledge and experience from the retail, floor covering industry and sales fronts. He spent time working at Carpetland USA, Mohawk as a Color Center program specialist, as a retail store owner and as a regional vice president at US Floors and Shaw Industries.

“Robbie joins our team at an important time,” said Ryan Dunn, co-COO. “We wanted a proven sales leader committed to success. We know Robbie has the industry and retail knowledge necessary to connect prospects with our program. His experience plus CarpetsPlus ColorTile’s proven menu of options and benefits for retail members equals membership growth.”

Spurr added, “I attended every show the industry had to offer over the years, and I always noticed a difference with Alliance Flooring. The unity and comradery between the ownership, group members, staff and even suppliers was something that always stood out to me about Alliance Flooring. This is a tight knit group and I’m looking forward to getting back to my roots and the family atmosphere I saw exhibited at all their shows.”
