Daltile unveils Scripter collection

Home News Daltile unveils Scripter collection

Scripter collectionDallas, Texas—Daltile launched its new Scripter collection of glazed porcelain tiles featuring StepWise Technology. StepWise is said to provide 50% more slip-resistance than traditional tiles, making the product perfect for indoor and outdoor use. The recent collection was inspired by Northern European limestone, the company said.

According to Daltile, the Scripter collection offers timeless designs in soft, taupe-based neutrals and in today’s most popular formats: 24 x 24, 12 x 24 and an 8-inch hexagon. The 8-inch hexagon tiles can be used alone or combined with any of the four solid colors for a unique design touch. An additional treat is the collection’s 8” hexagon decorative accent that features an encaustic tile design in cobalt blue and white.

“The hexagon has been popular for centuries, and recently became very prominent in design again with the recent resurgence of Scandinavian and Mid-Century Modern design,” said Laura Grilli, director of product design for Daltile Corporation. “It is great for creating unique decorative combinations and is one of the easiest shapes to install in out-of-the-ordinary ways, bringing an artisan touch to a space.”
