Dallas — Dallas Market Center has named Eva Walsh executive vice president of marketing. In her position, Walsh is tasked with overseeing corporate services, creative services and corporate communications, while continuing to lead retail relations and business development.

“Eva has been instrumental in increasing business at Dallas Market through strategic projects and partnerships across industries, as well as refocusing our retail relations,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “We’re thrilled to have someone with Eva’s background and history heading up this vital part of our business.”

Walsh has been with Dallas Market Center for nine years, serving in roles that included temporary and permanent leasing for the apparel industry, as well as retail relations and business development. She first joined the Dallas Market Center team in 1989 as director of marketing and was promoted to director of leasing for the bridge and women’s apparel industries. In 2003, Walsh relocated to California with her family where she consulted for various companies, including DMC on the development of FashionCenterDallas.

In 2012, she returned to Dallas Market as VP of business development and led the company’s retail sales force for specialty and major stores, as well as established new business opportunities.
