Hamont, Belgium—i4F has created i4F Inc. with its base located in Atlanta, Ga. Matthieu Dekens, chief commercial officer for North America and Europe, i4F, relocated to Atlanta and assumes the role of president of i4F Inc. According to the company, he will be supported by a dedicated i4F Inc. team providing customer service as well as technical and marketing support to the United States, Canada and South America.

As one of the world’s flooring hotspots and a major flight hub, Atlanta was selected as the new US entity’s base, according to the company.

“i4F’s commitment to the US is further reinforced by having a member of our global management team physically available on American soil,” said John Rietveldt, CEO, i4F. “Atlanta was our obvious choice given its history and strong concentration of US flooring industry players located there. Our top priorities are to continue deepening relationships with US industry players as well as to support licensees and their customers.”

Rietveldt said he and his team will accomplish this by promoting i4F technologies with physical presence as well as a full range of digital marketing and technical assets. “Innovation never stops and nor will we by continuing to deliver meaningful IP that not only meets real life needs, today but also anticipates what is required for tomorrow,” Rietveldt said.
