Princeton, Ill—Mohawk’s SmartStrand is now the talk of the town thanks to Todd and Debra Burrows, owners of Princeton’s Wyanet Carpet, who held a SmartStrand Challenge for all to see by installing SmartStrand carpet on Main Street for the Homestead Festival Parade.
The carpet endured serious abuse: tractors, trucks, cars, people and animals traveled across it.
The mess was bigger than expected, but a team of cleaning professionals from ServiceMaster of Princeton volunteered their services and a crowd of more than 50 people watched them easily remove heavy dirt, stains and soiling.
Within minutes, the carpet looked as good as new. In fact, it’s in such great shape the Burrows installed it in their showroom for customers to see.
“It’s a great conversation starter for our sales team,” Todd Burrows said. “People love everything about the SmartStrand story—from its durability to its eco friendliness.”For more on the SmartStrand Par-ade Challenge, call 706.272.4961 or visit Mohawk on Facebook.
