Peshtigo, Wis. – Aacer Flooring vice president of sales and marketing Kevin Barker announced today Aacer Flooring has added 25 full time positions and more production time.

“The events of the last 2 years have been truly astounding at Aacer Flooring. As many were writing off Aacer Flooring to become a statistic of the poor economy, we pulled ourselves up off the deck and turned the company around” said Barker. Aacer, along with its new ownership restructured the company and quickly learned how to flourish in difficult times. “Fast forward to today and we are stronger than ever and growing the business worldwide. We made it back last year to full strength on the production side and now we have surpassed expectations and added an additional 25 full time jobs bringing our company strength up an additional 20% greater than last year. These additional jobs are squarely designed to add an additional line to our already active three lines running.”

Laura Thomson Human Resource Manager at Aacer added “As one of the largest employers in Peshtigo WI, we have expanded our reach to Green Bay, Marinette and Menominee MI. This success has allowed us to enhance our benefits packages to help us to attract and retain employees in these markets.”

“Aacer Flooring is hiring and investing in our people and customers through better benefits and capital projects that will continue to make us a market leader for today and for the future” said Gordy Boyd CEO. Aacer Floorings diversification and depth in the wood products industry are unmatched by most in North America. Aacer’s sister company, Wolf River Lumber, is also positioned to grow well beyond where it was 4 years ago. Boyd went on to say “We are one of the few companies that can honestly say we are exporting finished goods to China. There is an increased demand for high quality goods coming out of the United States and our products fit that demand. Being made in the USA is something we are very proud of.”
