HomeNewsShaw Turf division announces relocation of corporate headquarters

Dalton, Ga.– Shaw Turf, a leading synthetic turf company and division of Shaw Industries, announced that as of October 25, 2012, its corporate offices will be moved to Calhoun, GA.  In addition to expanding the business space due to continued growth, the strategic move will bring the sales, marketing and operations group in close proximity to the turf manufacturing facility and the state-of-the-art Sports Science laboratory, the industry’s largest and most advanced lab for product development and testing.

“We cannot be more pleased with where our business is today,” said Phil Barlow, vice president of specialty markets and turf.   “We have experienced exponential growth in the past few years and the new move will only enable further expansion for the company.”

Barlow further commented, “The close collaboration of all of our business functions will strengthen our offerings.  We will be centrally located and near our parent company, allowing us to continue to draw from those synergies and resources.”

Through substantial investments and key acquisitions and partnerships, Shaw Industries has quickly secured a leadership position as a turnkey company excelling in providing synthetic solutions for sports, commercial locations, residential landscaping, pets facilities, parks playgrounds and landfill closures.  The company’s portfolio of brands includes Shaw Sports Turf, Southwest Greens, Terrasoft and ShawGrass.  Shaw is also an exclusive supplier of synthetic turf to ClosureTurf, an Atlanta-based landfill closure systems provider.

“Our expansion and relocation is just one more example of Shaw’s commitment to the turf industry,” said Barlow.   “We will continue to make strategic moves to ensure we are a sustainable business partner to our customers.”

The 28,000 square foot office space will be located at 185 South Industrial Boulevard, Calhoun, GA, 30701.  The two main phone numbers—770-795-1159 and 866-703-4004—and email addresses will remain the same.
