DALTON—Beaulieu of America recently received recognition for a successful promotional program with Floor To Ceiling (FTC) called “No Excuses.” FTC is part of Preferred Brands, which is also parent to the World of Floors franchise.

The No Excuses collection features a carpet line made from Beaulieu’s solution-dyed PET polyesters incorporating Magic Fresh, the mill’s built-in odor reducing treatment. The rack display of these top-selling styles by Beaulieu was created especially for FTC showrooms.

“We were pleased to award Beaulieu our Certificate of Achievement for its support in developing our new Floor To Ceiling No Excuses carpet collection,” said Steve Sindlinger, president/CEO, Preferred Brands. “The collection offers a soft flooring product that makes ‘no excuses’ when it comes to performance, stain resistance, styling, color and tactile aesthetics while neutralizing odors.

“It was also our inten
tion to recognize the importance of the phrase ‘no excuses’ in relation to Beaulieu’s consistent efforts in sup port of our FTC brand,” he added.

Ken Sherwood, right, Beaulieu’s vice president of national accounts, received the award from John Lomicky, director of merchandising for Preferred Brands. “We value our relationship with Floor To Ceiling,” said Sherwood. “This recognition shows what can be accomplished when manufacturer and retailer work together.”
