Export, Pa. — Karndean Designflooring has opened a 54,000 square foot warehouse and showroom facility in Irving, Texas, just outside of Dallas. The new location is situated in the Valley View Business Center, about 2 miles south of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
The new facility, in combination with its Export, Pa. headquarters and an existing distribution center/showroom in Las Vegas, will allow Karndean to serve its customers even more quickly and efficiently.
“We were really close to being able to offer deliveries on stocked items within two business days before, and in many cases, met that demand. We’ve taken one step closer to being able to guarantee it with this new facility,” said senior marketing manager Michael Lang. “One of the core values by which Karndean operates is ‘Deliver the Promise.’ The new Dallas showroom and warehouse will help us do that…literally.”
The new facility, which will primarily service the central corridor of the nation, was needed due to an escalating demand that shows no signs of diminishing. Karndean’s warehouse facilities were nearly over capacity for much of the year, and opening up an additional warehouse location in Dallas was a strategic and necessary addition for the growing company.
The grand opening for the facility is on Jan. 9, 2013, at which time it will be open and fully operational. Customers are welcome to visit the showroom during regular business hours.
