Volume 26/Number 20; February 18/25, 2013

Johnson City, Tenn.—Mullican Flooring has announced the launch of its Gold Dealer program at selected retail stores in the U.S. and Canada.

The program offers percentage cash rebates to qualifying retailers on the sale of certain Mullican products. The rebates range up to 5% on select solid and engineered products.

As Gold Dealers, these stores will also have access to various online advertising tools and benefits, including the option to receive hardwood flooring at half price for installing in showrooms and in a model home for customer viewing.

“Our Gold Dealer program is designed to inspire sales and build awareness about key Mullican products among our most devoted retail supporters,” said Brian Greenwell, vice president of sales and marketing. “We want to send a message of thanks to them for what they’ve done for us—as well as distribute more information about our products. We feel that everyone wins.”

Participating 2013 Gold Dealers will be required to own and exhibit Mullican’s display system, as well as sell and promote the Mullican brand. The latest showcase unit displays as many as 74 flooring samples in three sizes and is 8-ft. high x 11-ft. wide. Samples selected for display can vary based on distributor and retail store preferences.

To be eligible to receive cash rebates on specified Mullican products, Gold Dealers need to sell 10,000 square feet of prefinished Mullican flooring over a six-month period during 2013. Retail stores that are eligible to participate will be invited by their Mullican distributors to register for the Gold Dealer Program.
