St. Louis—The National Wood Flooring Association Certified Professionals (NWFACP) and Armstrong Floor Products have announced a dual-certification program for installers.
This opportunity will allow installers to build credibility in the marketplace by holding certifications from two highly recognized entities.
“This partnership is a huge win for the industry as a whole,” said Michael Martin, NWFA’s president and CEO. “Each certification program exists to ensure the best possible wood flooring installation. This partnership will build on the strengths of our individual programs, cultivating the best installers possible.”
“Based on professional training, this mutual recognition provides the wood flooring installer the unique opportunity to attain additional certification without having to repeat demonstration of their hands-on skills,” said Tim Provence, Armstrong field installation services specialist in Western U.S. and Canada. “Armstrong is proud to be associated with the NWFACP, promoting installation professionalism, skills and knowledge.”
The adoption of the program will raise the visibility of the NWFA Certified Professional Installers’ certification. More than 30 manufacturers have revised their installation guidelines to include a recommendation to use NWFA Certified Professionals when installing or using their wood flooring products.
