Cherry Hill, N.J. – Avalon Carpet Tile and Flooring announced Brian Witkin has joined the company as executive vice president of sales.
Witkin joins Avalon after a 19-year career at Mohawk Industries. He has served in various senior management positions in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic Region and recently at Mohawk’s corporate headquarters serving as vice president of sales operations.
“We are excited to have someone with Brian’s capability, integrity, and experience join our company,” said Maryanne Adams, president of Avalon. “His addition to the senior management team gives us the sales leadership needed to drive the organization’s growth plans.”
In his new role, Brian will develop and execute strategic programs to support the organization’s sales and revenue objectives. He will manage and oversee the retail, builder, contractor, designer and main street commercial sales activities of the Avalon organization.
