Dallas—StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) are forming a strategic partnership with IWF as an official endorser of StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2014, which is co-located with Surfaces. An IWF woodworking-specific education program will be available to StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas attendees, which will include design, business management, business development and material processing for the cabinetry and countertop sector as it relates to the kitchen and bath. More information regarding the program will be announced in the coming weeks.

IWF, the largest woodworking technology trade show in North America, is held every other year at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Recognized around the world as the pre-eminent event for introducing and selling manufacturing equipment, supplies and new technology, IWF attracts visitors from every level of the industry, from over 80 countries and all 50 states.

“We welcome IWF as an official endorser in 2014 and see great opportunities for this new partnership,” said Amie Gilmore, associate director of Surfaces | StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas. “There is an abundance of ways we can collaborate and we look forward to growing this partnership.”

Richard Hannigan, IWF 2014 chairman, added, “We see this as an opportunity to extend the IWF brand beyond wood. It makes sense to launch our new conference within an event such as StonExpo/ Marmomacc Americas and Surfaces.”

Surfaces | StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2014 will be held Jan. 27 to Jan. 30 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Exhibits will be open Tuesday through Thursday and the education program opens Monday and continues through Thursday.
