Chagrin Falls, Ohio—Tarkett announced the appointment of BPI to handle distribution in Texas, Oklahoma and a portion of Louisiana markets. BPI, the second largest flooring distributor in the U.S., offers a strong supply network with long, well-established customer relationships. Like Tarkett, it is known for its focus on providing excellent customer service.

“BPI and Tarkett’s core values and approach to servicing dealers are so aligned that we feel very fortunate to be able to call them our new strategic partner, and we look forward to a long and successful future,” said Troy Burke, vice president of sales and distribution for Tarkett.

BPI headquarters is located in Memphis, Tenn. As of Dec. 2, all Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma territories will be supplying the market with Tarkett’s residential portfolio of Luxury Tile and Plank, FiberFloor, vinyl sheet, and Finishing Accents.

John Anderson, executive vice president of BPI, said, “We’re enthusiastic about expanding our long-term commercial and Johnsonite partnership with the residential products under the Tarkett brand. We’re impressed with the new look of Tarkett and are very eager to show dealers the entire lineup, as well as its aggressive programs.”
