Edison, N.J. — FloorFolio announced today the company’s first U.S. patent has been awarded for its EnviroQuiet Luxury Vinyl Tile, an LVT that is now protected from duplication for its patented technology. As the only product of its kind in the commercial flooring market, Floorfolio was granted this patent for the EnviroQuiet LVT technology based on its formulation of a sound reducing, bonded rubber backing to its tile.

The patent for the EnviroQuiet LVT now permits Floorfolio the sole rights to produce, offer, and sell the product. The EnviroQuiet LVT is a singular solution to the end use community, eliminating any issues that can occur when installing LVT over a traditional sound pad.  FloorFolio gladly accepted the U.S. patent, which now gives them security for having this type of technological advantage in the flooring industry.

According to Michael Freedman, CEO of FloorFolio, “I am proud to announce the debut of our first patented product, the EnviroQuiet LVT. There is no product out there like it, and we can assure you, the EnviroQuiet LVT is just the beginning of our innovative products to emerge from FloorFolio.”

Focusing on specific demands of the flooring industry, FloorFolio decided to listen, respond, and take action to help their customers.  Aside from offering high-end visuals with unique and exclusive patterns, the EnviroQuiet LVT has a 3mm sound reducing underlayment that is permanently attached during the manufacturing process.  This allows for one cost, one installation, and one solution. The launch of the EnviroQuiet LVT also brings with it the benefit of being an integrated product that carries a warranty, thus waiving the possibility of delamination and installation concerns.

“At FloorFolio Industries, we are committed to producing commercial flooring that offers choice, diversity, and quality, while staying cost effective for every consumer budget,” Freedman said. “With over 200 various colors and patterns to choose from, we are dedicated to providing professional and courteous service that is personal and tailored to meet your needs. With the evolution of technology, we will continue our passion to formulate new products that are innovative and fundamental in every aspect.”
