Välinge has announced a global, non-exclusive license agreement with Chinese company Fine Furniture for the use of the 5G-C system on the short side of engineered wood flooring.
LM Flooring, a subsidiary of Fine Furniture Ltd., has been producing engineered wood floors since 2001. LM Flooring started to manufacture products with mechanical locking systems in 2007. The company has decided to take the next step and become a Välinge licensee in order to meet the market demand for a fast and strong fold down installation method with Välinge’s 5G-C.
Välinge’s 5G systems, which are the most widely used fold down systems in the market, utilize a flexible and displaceable glass-fiber reinforced tongue. The 5G technologies have become very popular due to their strength and fast, easy installation. More than 65 Välinge licensees have introduced the 5G locking systems on their products since the technology was first launched in 2005.
