Thomasville, N.C. —  Citing increased consumer demand for laminate flooring, Unilin is expanding again in Thomasville with plans to add to its workforce, the Winston-Salem Journal reported.

In April, Unilin reopened a manufacturing plant on Denton Road to handle increased demand for its products. Its overall workforce has been expanded by at least 45 employees since April to 280. It added a second shift and second production department in June. This time, Unilin is adding 78,000 square feet to its Cloniger Road plant to expand production and warehouse space. It will begin hiring employees as that expansion nears completion, the newspaper reported.
