Kennesaw, Ga. — Invista Surfaces, parent company of the Stainmaster brand of carpet, has announced two executive promotions.

Invista has promoted Maggie Bidlingmaier to vice president of its residential business. Bidlingmaier joined Invista in February 2014 as vice president of the retail channel. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading all strategic efforts to drive growth and innovation in the residential business, including capitalizing on the company’s capabilities to build a strong platform to maximize the value of the Stainmaster brand. She will continue to report to Dan Haycook, executive vice president, Invista Surfaces.

Former director, retail channel for Stainmaster, T.M. Nuckols will take on a newly created role as senior director of product strategy. Nuckols will be responsible for all product development and channel product strategies for residential. This new position will help Invista drive faster, more efficient product innovation across all Stainmaster products and channels.

“T.M. has an excellent record of delivering business results,” Bidlingmaier said. “I am confident that in his newly expanded role, T.M. will use his 25 years of experience and expertise to continue driving value creation for Invista, retailers and consumers.”

Jeff Honkonen, sales director for residential, will continue to lead the direct mill team and drive strategic partnerships with mill customers. “Jeff’s extensive industry knowledge and strategic relationships with the mills are critical success factors in ensuring our long-term growth,” Bidlingmaier said.
