Norwalk, Conn.—Metroflor Corp. announced the promotion of two team members.

Jimmy Alexander has the new role of product and brand manager for the portfolio of brands available through Metroflor’s distribution network in the U.S. and Canada including: Konecto, Aspire Groutable LVT, Engage, Artistek and Metroflor LVT brands and Prevail Adhesives & Accessories.

In addition to providing strategic leadership in Metroflor’s sample fulfillment division and managing vendor relationships, Alexander works with Russ Rogg , president and CEO, to develop overall product and brand strategy encompassing all aspects of development, launch, implementation and promotional activities. Previously he served as Metroflor’s southeast district sales manager, responsible for directing and managing all sales related activities within the company’s network of independent distributors in the Southeast region.

“Given his sales perspective, Jimmy always places the customer first when making decisions for the Metroflor stable of brands, developing products, sales tools, collateral and merchandising that effectively meet their needs,” Rogg said.

Kevin Parker was promoted to technical sales manager, a new position. In this role, he works in conjunction with Metroflor district sales managers in a technical sales role by conducting presentations, addressing technical questions on Metroflor’s LVT products and promoting the company’s accessory products under the Prevail brand. He began his career at Metroflor in 2012 as installation trainer, responsible for training installers on the proper techniques and recommendations to successfully install the company’s products.

“Kevin has gained the respect of his colleagues and our distributor network as being the ‘go-to’ individual for tough questions and unique situations when a resolution is needed to successfully sell or install our products,” Rogg said. “He has become a trusted expert in his field.”
