St. Louis–The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) will feature a comprehensive selection of educational sessions during the 2016 Wood Flooring Expo, scheduled April 27–30, in Charlotte, N.C.

“Symposium and Expo education represents an opportunity for industry professionals to meet and discuss advanced topics that will increase their industry knowledge,” said Brett Miller, NWFA vice president of education and certification. “Attendees will explore industry-related topics in great detail with experts in the field.”

Symposium offers advanced, in-depth education sessions on Wednesday, April 27. Three tracks will be offered, including an inspector track, a sales professional track, and a technical track. Following attendance at symposium, certified professionals will earn three continuing certification units, which is the equivalent of one year’s worth of required certification maintenance. Symposium is offered at an additional cost of $225.

Expo education will begin Thursday, April 28. Attendees can choose from more than 20 educational sessions taught by 37 professionals, covering topics such as marketing and sales, technical skills, architecture and design, and management. There will be collaborative courses that bring together attendees to share experiences and best practices, as well. Upon completion of Expo education, attendees will earn three continuing certification units. Those who attend Symposium and Expo education will earn a total of six CCUs, which is the equivalent to two year’s worth of required continuing education for NWFA Certified Professionals.
