What’s new for fall 2023

HomeFeatured PostWhat's new for fall 2023

Along with the new fall selling season comes opportunities to expand your offerings and refresh your offerings to get consumers excited about their renovation projects. Whether it’s updated soft surface patterns or extensions to your hardwood flooring or rigid core lineup, specialty flooring retailers will have no shortage of options to offer consumers during this critical selling season. Following are a few standouts.

Classen

Classen puts the spotlight on Megaloc Twin, a new technology to facilitate herringbone pattern installations. Where previously double storage or complicated ordering of A-B packages—which created a risk of possible confusion of planks during installation—Megaloc Twin ensures greater installation simplicity, speed and efficiency. How it works: Only “A” planks are used, negating the need for a coordinating “B” plank. In addition to expediting and simplifying the installation, this system also minimizes waste, according to Classen. Another feature of the Megaloc Twin system is each contact point of the planks is waxed on one side, creating a smooth connection. This reduces friction between the planks and eliminates annoying creaky noises when walking on the floor.

COREtec

COREtec has introduced two impressive 6 x 48 styles—Woodbury Maple and Artesia Hickory. Expressive in their color variation and foundational in their character, these two new colors are vibrant additions to the COREtec Originals (WPC) collection. As COREtec Originals styles, Woodbury Maple and Artesia Hickory are extremely warm and comfortable underfoot, lessening joint fatigue and reducing noise for homeowners. Plus, all COREtec floors are 100% waterproof, kid-proof, pet-proof—giving your customers the durability and cleanability they need.

fallEngineered Floors

The Silver Lining series is one of Engineered Floors’ newest product launches. It features EF’s latest fiber technology—PureColor featuring HiGH-DEF Color Technology—which produces 16 vibrant, high-definition colors. These colors include fresh new colorways in warm neutrals and subtle tonals. This series, Silver Lining II, III and IV, is available in three different weights: 45, 60 and 75 ounces. This allows retailers to offer a variety of price points to meet the needs of their customers. The color selections are more dynamic and usable with hard surfaces, paint, and home décor due to Engineered Floors’ color affinity story.

Hallmark Floors

Clean, modern and minimal. That sums up the visuals in the new Serenity collection from Hallmark Floors. Sourced from the breathtaking landscapes of North America’s New England region, the new Serenity collection conveys the serene embrace of nature. Here, amidst the hallowed beauty of slow-grown forests, Hallmark has discovered the essence of calmness, grace and sublime simplicity. The unique climate of this region provides longer, cooler summers, fostering the growth of hardwoods with unparalleled integrity and a resplendent appearance.

fallLignomat

The new MC/RH Tracker from Lignomat is essential to monitoring wood floors during acclimation and installation. The device simultaneously records humidity and moisture from one relative humidity probe and three floor measuring probes. What’s unique about the system is the moisture is being measured with a set of pin probes—comparable to having three pin meters taking moisture measurements in preset time intervals—all recorded automatically in a log with corresponding RH, temperature, EMC, GPP and DPT. Useful to monitor floor installations or test sites for up to eight years.
