Henderson, N.C.—Versatrim, a leading manufacturer of vinyl and laminate floor moldings and stair solutions, acquired Artistic Finishes. This acquisition expands Versatrim’s portfolio into wood moldings and hardwood stair components.

The acquisition brings together two category leaders and creates one of the most comprehensive portfolios of moldings, stair solutions and flooring accessories in North America.

“This acquisition firmly establishes Versatrim as a one-stop resource for moldings, stair solutions and flooring accessories,” said Keith Medick, president and CEO of Versatrim. “It aligns our capabilities and expertise to better serve the market with a unified, end-to-end offering.”

Artistic Finishes is known for its solid wood moldings, stair treads, vents and advanced finishing technologies. The combination allows Versatrim to offer coordinated solutions across laminate, vinyl, LVT, WPC, SPC and wood flooring categories.

According to the company, customers will benefit from expanded product coordination, simplified sourcing and consistent lead times. The combined portfolio includes exact-match stair treads, commercial-grade aluminum moldings, flexible moldings, primed profiles, hardware, adhesives and sealant tape.

Versatrim said the integration strengthens its ability to serve both residential and commercial markets. Manufacturing scale from Versatrim will pair with Artistic Finishes’ craftsmanship and finishing expertise.

“This milestone reflects the leadership of Dennis Leach, founder of Artistic Finishes,” Medick added. “His commitment to craftsmanship and customer care set a standard we are proud to carry forward.”

Artistic Finishes will continue operating as a distinct brand within the Versatrim family. Integration efforts will span manufacturing, product development, sales and distribution.

Versatrim said the acquisition positions the company for long-term growth while delivering greater coordination and reliability for flooring professionals across North America.
