tradetapDalton—Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) announced a new strategic partnership with TradeTap, formerly known as Go Carerra, marking a significant step forward in strengthening installer education, workforce connectivity and access to modern professional resources.

“At the core of this partnership is our commitment to supporting the installer,” said John McHale, director of operations for CFI. “This platform allows us to deliver education more efficiently while giving installers modern tools to present themselves professionally, connect with opportunities and continue growing in an evolving marketplace.”

As part of the partnership, TradeTap will serve as CFI’s new digital training hub for instructors, providing a centralized platform for curriculum support, instructional resources, communication tools and ongoing education materials. This streamlined approach will help ensure consistency, quality and alignment with CFI standards across all training programs.

The platform will also introduce expanded tools designed specifically for installers, enabling them to showcase credentials, connect with work opportunities and access career development resources in one place. These enhancements reflect CFI’s commitment to supporting installers beyond certification and throughout their careers.

TradeTap will also replace the “Find an Installer” feature previously hosted on the CFI website. The new experience allows installers to maintain dynamic profiles while helping homeowners, contractors, retailers and industry partners more easily connect with qualified professionals, modernizing how the industry identifies and connects with certified installers.

Designed to bring greater value to the installation community, the partnership focuses on making education immediately useful in installers’ daily work. “What excites me most about this partnership is the value it brings to the installation community by putting CFI’s world-class training and certifications directly at their fingertips,” said Paul Stuart, founder of TradeTap. “Together, we’re turning education into lasting career value, recognition, and opportunity.”

Additional details regarding the rollout of the training hub and installer resources will be shared in early 2026. The partnership will be showcased at TISE, with TradeTap featured in the CFI booth (7077), where live demonstrations of both the instructor hub and installer platform will be available.
