Flowood, Miss.—The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) has formed a formal affiliation with the Tile Association of New Zealand (TANZ).

TANZ is New Zealand’s largest tile industry trade association. The partnership supports NTCA’s efforts to advance industry standards, education and professional development worldwide.

The affiliation builds on NTCA’s existing collaboration with the Australian Tile Council. It connects two leading organizations serving the global tile industry.

NTCA and TANZ will share knowledge, research and best practices. Their goal is to improve installation procedures and raise industry standards. The organizations also aim to help contractors deliver high-quality results for end users.

“We are excited to formalize this affiliation with TANZ,” said Jeremy Sax, deputy executive director of NTCA. “Our goals align perfectly—both organizations are dedicated to promoting education, training and professional excellence. By working together, we can share invaluable research and educational resources that will benefit our members and the broader construction industry.”

Each organization will become an affiliated member of the other. They will support shared objectives and promote tile as a premier building option.

Partnership focuses

  • Resource sharing: The associations will exchange technical guides, educational materials and installation best practices.
  • Industry support: Both groups will cross-promote initiatives that encourage professional growth and industry confidence.
  • Enhanced connectivity: Members will gain greater access to industry research, insights and networking opportunities across the Pacific.

“TANZ is delighted to be affiliated with the NTCA,” said Brendon Manson, chief executive of TANZ. “We share a common vision for the industry and we look forward to a partnership that will provide a cohesive pathway for successful construction processes and greater exposure for the tile industry.”

The collaboration supports NTCA’s mission to help contractors through education and peer interaction. It also helps professionals develop the skills needed to manage successful and profitable businesses.
