DaltonUniversal Textile Technologies (UTT), one of the industry leaders in manufacturing eco-friendly carpet backings, has announced several new enhancements to its mobile app for iPhone and Android devices.

This updated release gives Universal’s mobile customers new ways to browse product information under a heading called “Backing”; to share Universal’s brochures, diagrams and technical specs with the touch of a finger; and to send questions or suggestions back to Universal using a new “Feedback” button.

Designed specifically for iPhone and Android customers, Universal’s updated mobile app is easy and fast to download and use. “This is an ideal fingertip reference guide for anyone needing immediate access to product information about Universal’s BioCelTM and EnviroCelTM backing systems for carpet and synthetic turf,” said Doug Giles, director of marketing for UTT. “Our app users can browse our new Backings section to compare our products for attributes including moisture resistance, sound absorption, thermal insulation, durability, LEED information and more. And all of our technical data is easier to share with others using a simple touchscreen button built into the app.”

Universal’s mobile app is part of the company’s commitment to environmentally responsible manufacturing and product development, demonstrated by its use of the industry’s state-of-the art equipment, technologies, techniques and eco-friendly raw materials.

The mobile app is free for building managers, specifiers, architects, designers, and carpet and synthetic turf manufacturers.

To download the app, search Universal Textile in Google Play or Apple’s App Store.
