Marietta, Ga. — Nothing says “fashion for your floor” like New Zealand wool carpet and rugs, especially this spring. Starting April 15, the annual Brilliant Choices spring sale will run through May 31 at all Premier Partner retail stores. The event not only provides customers with a discount on Wools of New Zealand brand products, but also donates a portion of each purchase to Shear Joy, a Heifer International program that provides sheep to needy families worldwide. Shear Joy sheep donations help advance the cause against hunger and poverty. Entire communities depend on wool and meat from sheep, and struggling families use sheep’s wool to make clothes, or sell it for extra income.

“This sales event truly highlights all the benefits wool has to offer,” said Hallie Cobb, marketing director at Wools of New Zealand. “It allows our Premier Partner dealers to promote the excellent qualities of carpet and rugs made with New Zealand wool, including vivid color and natural style, and to provide their customers with a superior product at a discounted price. This campaign is designed to reflect the vibrant colors, patterns and aesthetics of fashion available in wool carpet.”

Point-of-purchase items provided to the Premier Partners, including posters, hanging mobiles and carpet tags, as well as print and online ads, feature brightly colored sheep with humorous expressions. Of course, the emphasis is always on the natural beauty, longevity and sustainability of carpet and rugs made with wool from New Zealand. The Brilliant Choices sale is exclusive to Wools of New Zealand Premier Partners. Recognized as Showrooms of Excellence, Wools of New Zealand Premier Partner retailers are dedicated to selling high-quality wool products and are well-trained on the features, benefits and care of wool.
