Calhoun, Ga.—Surya has produced a video for retailers, sales associates and industry partners to show the craftsmanship and passion behind their product. Surya’s production crew traveled across the world to gather intimate production details from their facilities in India – the result, an insightful documentation of the rug-weaving process and all that it entails. The video illustrates the intricate detail, hard work and sheer craftsmanship that go into each and every Surya rug. Each rug is unique, as it was individually woven by hand with hand-dyed yarn.
“We want to give people an in-depth look into what we really do, you see, the core of our company is not the rugs – it’s the people,” said Satya Tiwari, President of Surya. “The passion they exude for their craft is rare, but inspiring, and we want to share that with the world.”
