SALISBURY, N.C.—Walk-On Products is marking the first anniversary of its Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign by teaming with a new organization, the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation. This new adventure also brings a bold new color to Walk-On Products’ carpet cushion, Curebond; vivid fuchsia.

Only recently have scientists and researchers concluded that breast cancer is not one disease, but many forms originating in the breast. Triple negative breast cancer is one of those types, and depending on the stage of diagnosis, it can be extremely aggressive and more likely to recur and metastasize than other subtypes of breast cancer.

The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and support researchers to determine the definitive causes of triple negative breast cancer so that effective detection, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment can be pursued and achieved.

“We are proud to make donations to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation through the sale of our Curebond to support Breast Cancer Awareness,” said Jeff Moose, vice president of Walk-On Products.

For every roll of Curebond purchased, Walk-On Products will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation. From now until Oct. 31, Walk-On Products will double their donation in commemoration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). Curebond was developed especially to bring awareness to breast cancer.

Curebond carpet padding is made from recycled and renewable sources and surpasses commercial guidelines in green design, according to company executives. Curebond has an anti-microbial additive to prevent microbial growth, odors, and stains and is also hypoallergenic. Curebond carpet padding features insulation and noise reduction properties, is 100% recyclable and is made from soy.
