Smart features and eye-catching designs won Armstrong’s Duality sheet vinyl flooring a coveted spot as one of 2012’s “30 Most Innovative Products,” selected by the editors of Better Homes & Gardens-Kitchen & Bath Ideas.

According to BH&G-KBI, innovation is a hot topic in kitchen and baths, and after industry advances in past years such as hands-free faucets and toilets that play music, choosing 2012’s top 30 was no easy task.

“This is a great win for Armstrong dealers, as well as Armstrong,” said Mara Villanueva-Heras, vice president, marketing, residential flooring for Armstrong. “Having consumers read that Duality is recognized as a top product by a magazine with the great stature of Better Homes & Gardens reinforces the value of the Armstrong brand name. It reassures consumers that the brand continues to stand for top-of-the-line flooring. This is a story we’ll be echoing loudly – further reassurance that Armstrong is a smart purchase decision.”

The editors loved Duality for its ultra-realistic looks and easy, glueless installation option. The new Duality premium vinyl floor has a fiberglass structure for high performance and 3D superior visuals for enhanced dimension, depth of color and definition. Easy maintenance and superior performance is provided by CleanSweep protective coating which protects floors and prevents staining. Duality can withstand even the most active lifestyles, offering best-in-class warranties including lifetime limited and up to 15 years light commercial. Said vice president, residential resilient product management Allen Cubell, “It’s for people who want the best of everything: style, comfort and durability.”
