Norcross, Ga. — Handmade rug manufacturer Amer Rugs will participate in next month’s High Point Market for the first time, opening up a 2,000-square-foot showroom in the Suites at Market Square, space M-4042. Both its program collections — including the Ottoman, Kohinoor and Pearl lines that were introduced in its new product catalog for 2012 — and one-of-a-kind items will be shown at market, and drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served each afternoon.

The company said that Tanuj Gupta, its president of sales and marketing, decided to move in this direction after a successful Atlanta International Area Rug Show this past January.

The company will also unveil its new digital product e-catalog during the show, and which will be accessible to its clients from the company’s new interactive website, scheduled to launch on April 1, 2012. Visitors will be able to view the catalog as a flip pdf file or download it.
