FEI group launches performance workshop

HomeNewsFEI group launches performance workshop

While the builder market rebounds and the multi-family segment continues to thrive, FEI Group remains committed to providing its members with the resources they need to stay a step ahead of the competition.

Happening this spring, the Performance Summit is one such example.  An innovative, collaborative workshop that combines best practices, peer review exercises and networking opportunities, the Performance Summit sessions will be held regionally over a one-month period.  Evan Hackel, President of Ingage Consulting, specializes in conducting high-powered, actionable events and will host the meetings.

The idea behind the program is simple:  deliver actionable ideas that will positively impact the bottom-line of FEI Group members.  The meetings are customized for flooring businesses and built around current issues and ideas that affect these businesses today.

“We plan to send several quality representatives from our management team,” says Jerry Hosko, president of Redi Carpet and a MultiFamily Solutions advisory board member.  “Our key sales, operations and financial management team members will be there.”

In preparation for the Summit, members were asked to complete a comprehensive performance survey, the results of which will be shared in the aggregate at each session.  The data is intended to serve as a benchmark so that members can better understand how their business compares to that of their peers.

“We attended FEI Group’s Project Benchmark seminar a number of years ago,” explains Curly Kuldell, president of Henges Interiors and a Home Solutions member.  “We saw dramatic bottom-line results after implementing ideas shared by fellow members.  We wouldn’t miss this.”

Jay Smith, FEI Group president, is excited.  “The membership is energized,” he says.  “We expect both industry veterans and up and coming young talent to attend.  Anybody who can make a difference in the business is encouraged to join us.”
