HomeInside FCNewsClarion appoints Babula president, CEO

Shippenville, Pa.—Clarion Industries has named Michael Babula president and CEO replacing Tony Sturrus as part of a management succession plan put in place last year.

Babula has been Clarion’s vice president of sales and marketing since 2009, when the private-label laminate producer was restructured under new ownership consisting of Aconcagua Holdings and the Fairbanks Family Fund.

Sturrus said he will assist Babula during the planned transition period while completing work on some key strategic initiatives. “Mike is well prepared to lead the company, and I anticipate the transition will be seamless and relatively short in duration.”
