FCNews to ‘massage’ your Surfaces experience

Volume 26/Number 17; January 7/14, 2013

Every year Surfaces attendees stop by the Floor Covering News booth. Some spend a minute; some spend a lot longer. It may simply be to ask a question, fill out a subscription card, catch up on the latest happenings in the industry or just to say, “Hey.” Many visitors have given the FCNews slot machine a spin and walked away $25 or $100 richer.

But this year we are
once again giving Surfaces attendees another
reason to stop by the
FCNews booth. We’re
 giving you the opportu
nity to relax. And you
know that’s not so easy
as you traverse Surfaces’
two levels as well as the many private showrooms just off the show floor.

Here’s the best part: We’re not just talking about coming by and taking a load off.

Visit FCNews Booth #S7561 on the main level and one of our two professional massage therapists will be happy to relieve that tension in your back and neck with a free five-minute chair massage. What better way to re-invigorate and refresh yourself as you embark on the remainder of your Surfaces journey that includes more than 700 exhibitors and a few hundred thousand square feet of exhibit space?

Come by our booth, fill out a subscription card if you are not receiving the publication, take a minute to complete our Award of Excellence ballot (see page 22 for example) and receive your five-minute massage. It’s that simple. (You may be asked to fill out a brief survey if the two chairs are occupied.)

The Award of Excellence is now in its 17th year. Co-sponsored by FCNews and the World Floor Covering Association, it is a way for manufacturers’ customers—retailers, distributors, designers, installers, specifiers, etc.—to honor the companies they feel consistently provide the best service, professionalism of sales force, management, responsiveness, value, design, B2B, handling of claims and ease of doing business. In other words, those manufacturers they feel help them the most in running successful, profitable business operations.
