Dalton — Building on the successful SmartSolutions carpet launch last year, Mohawk and NFA are expanding their partnership. For 2013, the private label program will now include hard surface options, specifically ceramic tile and hardwood. The agreement to extend the program was reached at NFA’s recent biannual conference in Beaver Creek, Colo.

“The NFA represents a significant customer base for us and we are incredibly excited about the opportunities this partnership has created for both parties,” said Jamie Byrne, senior vice president of hard surfaces. “It was a logical transition to include hardwood and ceramic options in the SmartSolutions program this year and we look forward to making further enhancements in the future.”

NFA President Phil Koufidakis speaks highly of the organization’s partnership with Mohawk. “Last summer, we worked with Mohawk to launch the SmartSolutions carpet program and we have been astounded with its success. We are enthusiastic about expanding the program this summer and continuing to grow our relationship with Mohawk.”

The new and improved SmartSolutions program will be launched in June.
