New York—Mohawk Industries will be added to the S&P 500 index after the market close on Dec. 20. Mohawk will join Facebook and Alliance Data Systems as new members of the index. Leaving the index are JDS Uniphase, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Teradyne. Mohawk will be added to the S&P 500 GICS Home Furnishings Sub-Industry index.
