Chicago – Peter “Rick” Truxell, purchasing director at All Tile Inc., has passed away. He was 58.

Truxell began working for All Tile in 1980 as a purchasing agent, ultimately advancing to Purchasing Director. Prior to that, he was a purchasing agent at Misco Shawnee.

According to an All Tile tribute, Truxell earned a reputation for being a highly organized, detail oriented purchasing manager who was remarkably proficient in his position.

“His talents in I.T. were equally impressive as was his acumen about All- Tile’s operation,” the company wrote in a tribute. “He routinely went far beyond his job title as he kept a watchful eye on matters big and small and was a tremendous source of support for the entire organization.”
