Lancaster, Pa. — Armstrong World Industries Inc. announced that Home Plus Floors, Longview, Texas, was named an Armstrong Elite Retailer.

According to the company, Armstrong Elite flooring showrooms are hand-selected retailers that display the broadest selection of Armstrong flooring in every product category from hardwood to vinyl sheet, from laminate to luxury vinyl tile.

As an Elite Retailer, Home Plus Floors provides exclusive services to customers on Armstrong products that include extended warranties, a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and the latest product updates. As a requirement of the program, Elite Retailers go through extensive training that allows them to specialize in Armstrong product knowledge and installation expertise, the company stated.

“Home Plus is a great organization of people who love the home building and home improvement industry. You can see the pride they take in combining their resources to fulfill the home décor needs of their customers,” said Steve Staikos, national sales manager, strategic accounts, Armstrong.

According to the company, Home Plus boasts the largest selection of in-stock flooring in east Texas, and also offers both online and in-store design services. Its showroom features large scale product visual displays so customers can see how products look before they are installed. New Elite merchandising displays will be added to the showroom to provide an even wider range of hard surface floor covering options for customers to choose from. An additional benefit of the program for the retailer is that the store is co-branded on Armstrong.com which also helps to provide qualified leads direct to the retailer. Home Plus is the first of the company to join the Elite program.
