Lancaster, Pa. — Armstrong World Industries announced the inclusion of Carpet King to the Armstrong Elite Retailer program.

Carpet King operates eight showrooms in the communities surrounding Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn. As part of its outstanding service proposition, Carpet King retains in-house design consultants that are continuously trained in a wide variety of products. “Our customers, as well as our staff, love Armstrong products because they continually represent the newest trends in texture, pattern and color in the floor fashion industry, which helps to make it easy to assist our customers in choosing flooring that will enhance the beauty and style of their homes,” said Marti Runeborg, store manager, Carpet King.

As part of the Elite program, Carpet King will add new Elite merchandising displays to their showroom to provide a wider range of hard surface floor covering options for customers. All Elite retailers go through an extensive training that prepares them to specialize in Armstrong product knowledge and installation expertise. Additionally, Elite retailers gain access to exclusive services. Carpet King will now provide exclusive services to customers on Armstrong products that include extended warranties, a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee and the latest product updates. An additional benefit for the retailer is that the store is co-branded on Armstrong.com, which also helps to provide qualified leads direct to the retailer.

“Carpet King has been around for almost 70 years, and offers a ‘Love Your Selection Promise’ that we are big fans of,” said Stephen G. Staikos, national sales manager, strategic accounts, Armstrong. “Carpet King is a trusted name and we are proud to join forces and bring the Armstrong Elite program to their Minneapolis showroom.”

Armstrong Elite flooring showrooms are hand-selected retailers that display the broadest selection of Armstrong flooring in every product category, from hardwood to vinyl sheet, from laminate to luxury vinyl tile.
