Bonita Springs, Fla.–Ken Sherwood is joining Abbey Carpet Company Inc. as vice president of franchise development-Western and Rocky Mountain states.
Sherwood is a 37-year veteran of the flooring industry, with the majority of that time spent in the Western and Rocky Mountain States. Most recently he was vice president of national accounts for the Beaulieu Group.
In addition to spending the last six years with Beaulieu, Sherwood was also with Shaw, Mohawk, and Evans and Black. During his tenÂÂure with Beaulieu, Sherwood called on Abbey as one of his primary national accounts.
In this newly created position, Sherwood will be responsible for prospecting and engaging qualified retailers for the purpose of joining either Abbey Carpet & Floor or Floors To Go.
