A.J. Rose Carpets & Flooring celebrates 40 years

Saugus, Mass.—A.J. Rose Carpets & Flooring will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary this April. Founded in 1977 by Andy Boyajiian and his wife Rose Ann, A.J. Rose Carpets & Flooring has been a family owned and operated business ever since. This flooring company began as a small mom and pop store offering carpet only and through the years has grown into a top flooring retailer in the New England market.

A.J. Rose Carpets & Flooring is an American small business success story. Through the family’s hard work and determination, they now offer every major type of floor covering in their three store locations (Burlington, Natick and Saugus). It has taken over 40 years, and they are proud to say they are the largest floor covering-only chain in New England.

In recent years, Boyajiian turned the business over to his two sons, John and A.J. Both share the day-to-day managerial duties with John’s focus being on the commercial side of the business and A.J.’s on the residential.

“Our parents started the Burlington store on a hope and a dream,” said John Boyajiian. “Watching them put their all into this industry gave us the passion to understand all there is to know about flooring. Being able to pass that passion on to our clients through great service and products is what keeps us going.”

A.J. added, “People never think about flooring until they need it. We pride ourselves in knowing everything there is to know about flooring so when you visit one of our stores we’re ready to help you get exactly what you need.”

This family owned business has kept their original values, and the longevity of their staff is a testament to how they’ve run their company. A.J. Rose may have grown significantly larger, but most importantly it has never lost the sense of comfort and trust you would expect from a family owned and operated business.
